Automation can be supplied with Battery Back Up or UPS (Uniterrupted power supply) as its known as by the professionals, for instances of power cut, to keep you up and running for a period of time.

Although most manufacturers will recommend thi solution for solid infil gates , only in rare circumstances will we agree to fit this type of automation to solid gates. In our experience, Worm drive automation is suitable for lightweight gates with an open design.
